my first real post!

Up to this point, I've basically only used this blog to track its own progress, however, it seems rather silly to have made a whole blog just for that. The other day, I saw a video saying that one of your first projects as a developer should be a blog, because then you can track your progress as a dev. At first, I said to myself "That would be such a difficult project! I found it quite hard, and I've been developing for a year", and then I realized most people are normal, and just use WordPress. Too bad I'm way cooler than that. Seriously though, even if it was way harder (and maybe doesn't look as good), I've had so much fun making this.

Anyway, more about my actual life right now. I really should do a proper introduction soon, but it's okay for a bit. My school is almost out, and then I'll have summer break. There's not anything specific I'm excited to do, but I definitely had a better school year than last, and hopefully that will lead to a more stress free summer without make-up classes because I missed credits during the year. Damn, call me the queen of run on sentences. I preordered an ROG Ally recently, and I'm excited to hashtag play ally my games (this is a reference to their slogan, #playALLYourgames). It's a silly slogan, but hopefully not a silly product. I often don't play games because it's wildly inconvenient to get out of bed and move two feet, so hopefully I'll be able to achieve peak laziness.

Man, this keyboard is truly not good. I'm using my backup MacBook because my other one died, and it is so uncomfortable for lap typing!! None of the macs I have have good keyboards, but these keys are so hard to press and go so deep it's genuinely hurting my hands. Maybe instead of an ROG Ally I should have just bought one good laptop. Nahhhh, that's not as fun. I should really embed images into these posts so they look nicer and more eye catching, but I'm worried it will break something, so I won't for now.

Alright, I think that's a pretty solid "first" post, and my hands are about to fall off, so I'll be done for now. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes!
